Zaragoza

My bus arrived early in the morning but my bike wasn't fixed until much later on into the afternoon. Instead of trying to salvage the day, I decided not to cycle on but spend a relaxed few hours in Zaragoza.

The city was fairly compact, but I still somehow managed to cover nearly 34 km in just one afternoon. Here's Zaragoza at sunset. Our Lady of Pilar Cathedral can be seen in the background (the building with the four towers) and looks even more impressive when viewed up close.

Plans to meet my cousin in Madrid meant that I had to make up for the lost kilometres. A short train ride left me slightly closer to Madrid in the little town of Arcos de Jalon.
