The Glamour of Government

The Cabinet met this morning at Bute House and the meeting was followed by a vast Q&A at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. As a mere Minister I'm not automatically at Cabinet Meetings but Kenny MacAskill was attending a funeral today, so I was there in his place and to answer on Justice issues.

We were transferred from Bute House to the EICC by mini-bus and delivered into the Service Area, thereafter being shepherded into the Service Lift to be whisked upstairs to the carpeted, well-lit section of the building!!

And yes, you'll have noticed that the FM and the Dep FM were spared such indignities.

Thus the hidden workings of government!!
