Freezing

by the time i returned home after a long work day, the ODO read 3520km

it was 3 degrees C at 7.30am at this point - on the return trip at about 9.00pm, it was 5 degrees C at the same point; the frost warning remained lit up for a quarter of an hour

the mountains were covered in snow, which glowed in between the darkness of the night sky and the black hills
