Been a long time

Had lunch today with my oldest friend, Shtevie, and his wife of God knows how many years. I first met Janis when she and Stephen started going out together. She was, I think, sixteen. There are few people in the world I have known longer. My mother always said of her, "Och, she's such a pretty wee girl." And she still is.
