A sunset over Isaac Pool

For once this is the end of daylight rather than the beginning. A happy coincidence allowed me to be home early enough to catch up with my walking partner, who had popped over to drop off a very tasty bottle of wine. We've had very few opportunities to stretch our legs together this year. It was great to chat for a few minutes before he had to wend his way up the M6 home.

Isaac Pool is just to the north of our housing estate. I find it a frustratingly difficult location to photograph well. The cirrus clouds are always good value at this time of day, giving structure to the sky overhead. A 2 stop ND Grad balanced the exposure.
