Wednesday 18 December 2013: Xmas sweetness
A colleague at work brought some Torró de Xixona to work for xmas. While people tried it, most found it too sweet for their liking.
My better half rather likes nougat and so I was given this block for her. My colleague said it's the good stuff and best eaten in very small pieces on Christmas day. It's now under the tree, where this was back-blipped, waiting to be opened.
Today has been hectic, trying to get everything at work done before the end of the year. It's going to be very tight... but I think it can be done. After work we went to the large supermarket on the edge of town - a rare trip - it wasn't too busy so we stocked up on sorts of oddments the smaller in-town version doesn't stock - we'll be okay for ecological laundry detergent for ages now...
