It's been a very eventful 24 hours in the H household. Yesterday H won a poetry competition at school, moved up two reading levels and was named 'star of the week', the floor in the kitchen was finally completed and we finished wrapping all the Christmas presents. Then today I finally signed the paperwork for my new car (it's only taken 5 MONTHS to arrive!)! But the biggest news of all?...WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY!

It's all far too exciting. I had it pour myself a big glass of wine to calm myself down a bit.
