Tuesday 29 September 2009: Blogs' Bridge
It's been a long wait, but today was the big day - time to have all those years of sugar abuse and poor dental hygiene reversed by the Cerec XL (and a wee bit of help from DrD, of course).
It really is quite incredible seeing everything designed on a computer screen next to your chair, then watching the machine mill a perfectly fitting bridge (right) out of a solid block of er... teeth (left).
He's keeping my 3D model on file just in case something happens to this one. Or so he says. I think he's secretly planning to sell souvenir Joe Blogs Bridges on eBay when I'm famous.
