A year in Canada

Day 66 – Rideau Hall, Ottawa

Today is Friday before the Thanksgiving weekend. Art has taken the day off so all four of us can head into Ottawa. On the way we stopped at a park to visit the beach and then visited Rideau Hall. This is the home of the Governor General who is the Queen’s representative in Canada and today’s photo. We couldn’t go inside, but the grounds are pretty big and nice to wander around.

We then headed into the centre of Ottawa and visited the Canadian Mint, had lunch in a nice pub and checked out the famous Byward Market.
