Nice and flat

We have a lovely postman at the moment and he is the first we have ever had who doesn't fold cards to get them through our rather small letter box. This postman uses his initiative and puts them in the immediately adjacent newspaper box. I spoke to him today to give him his Christmas "greeting". It was blowing a gale and teeming with rain but he was well covered in his waterproofs. No shorts today! He had a further three hours to go. I am pleased I haven't had to go out today as it is still very bad out there. I hope all my blip friends are safe and can reach their Christmas destinations without a problem.
