View from Law Hill

I took this from Law Hill behind West Kilbride at the end of what had been a grey, drizzly December day. It developed into quite a strong sunset to my left which illuminated the scenery on the opposite side of the view. About 20 miles distant, some of the Argyll hills pick up a faint russet tinge. In front of that is the southern tip of Bute, then wee Cumbrae. The closest coastline is the area around Portencross. The buildings are at the northern end of West Kilbride. I used a Nikon D300s and a 142mm lens, hand held at 1/25 second.
