Sources of entertainment

The temperature is still above freezing. Walking in the forest can be quite frustrating at times, as the ice has been "compressed" to the bottom of the path even in parts where the snow has melted. This must be frustrating time for the numerous people who love winter activities such as skiing, skating or icehole fishing. In the news the other day they visited a "freetime activity center" (or whatever they're called), who shut down their slalom slopes and re-opened their golf course because of the weather. I think that describes the current weather situation quite well.

The first season of Twin Peaks and a book about Metallica are/have been my two main sources of entertainment for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
