Boxing day leaf

While at Grandad's today we (well, me and Dad) went out on the obligatory Boxing Day Walk (TM). It was actually really nice. The weather has been refreshingly calm (though cold!) and sunny. It feels like ages since I last saw a proper blue sky like that. Very refreshing! And it was nice to see all the families about and such too, it felt very Christmasy. Though I did notice how few flowers there are in gardens etc where he lives, I do take it for granted a bit back home! Hence the leaf blip.

The rest of the day was spent on various things, including propping up Grandad's busted fence (the other day's winds finished it off!) and watching Andre Rieu.
