Boxing Day Concert

After giving a typical Boxing Day left overs lunch to our loved ones, Dad and I drove into London and then took the underground to Leicester Sq. St Martin-in-the-fields Church was our destination for a charming concert of Baroque music - programme. The church, situated in Trafalgar Square opposite the National Gallery was built in 1725 and is exquisitely finely detailed and appointed. Several members of the crowded concert audience, including me, stayed after the performance to take photographs of this glorious building with Vivaldi's Concerti still ringing in our ears :) In October when last I came with Dad we had a nice meal in the crypt but today there was only time for soup ! (Very nice carrot and coriander).
