The Edge of the Wold

On the outside looking in

We can't see much of Gus here, but do you think he has a slightly desperate look about him? "Let me in, give me a break".

As we arrived in Derby the day before, the concern had been whether Harri would accept Gus arriving at the heart of his home territory. However, as we might have realised from what my sister had said, Gus was more in danger of being loved to death by young Orla, the Irish Terrier. Poor Gus was playing hard to get, but hardly had a moment free of Orla's attentions.... at least until she met an Airedale who was much more receptive to her affection.

This is a back blip posted on Sunday 29th. We were very late home last night after driving back after an evening out at the amazing Slice of India in Derby. It was a lovely day, and after a certain amount of faffing, we did eventually get out for a stop start walk in the winter sunshine.

As so often happens, it was suggested that Gus might like to stay behind while we headed home, but his followers here will perhaps be relieved to know he politely declined the offer.
