ROUND FILEY

A quieter view after the excitement last night – Filey was at the centre of the Ferry Fire Saga, as the Lifeboat supported rescue helicopters to carry casualties to nearby Scarborough Hospital. Thankfully nobody seems to be seriously hurt – mainly smoke inhalation – and the ferry has made it safely back to the port of Newcastle.

Time to see Filey in the round. This is the view looking up from the beach to the promenade. It may also just creep in to the creativelenna Sunday Skies Challenge – although I have to say that, after all these celebrations, I am not totally convinced that it is Sunday !

I have used a new piece of software – Perfect B&W – to experiment. Clearly I need to learn more !
