Promises

I know I'm a day or so early but I was working on this page in my journal tonight. Instead of life changing resolutions I have promised myself that each month I will read one book, spin one skein of yarn, buy one new album and go for one walk somewhere natural and wild. I've been reflecting on some old journals from the last 10 years and these seem to be the things that make me happiest. Of course I'll still be knitting, felting, weaving and journaling in between, working, Uni and parenting but I like to have goals. I've made wee boxes for each month so I can fill in what I've done, and all this on a 50 year old piece of paper that was unused in a sketchbook of my gran's :D
