Tuesday 6 October 2009: Rose breasted Cockatoo
In Australia, the Rose-breasted Cockatoo is known as the "Galah." It is found in the wild in the multi-thousands. For bird watchers and visitors to Australia, the Galah is truly a fantastic sight to see. They are most often observed in groups, both small and large. When seen in the hundreds, whether in trees or flying in the air, it becomes a memorable experience.
