A Wet Day

It was a largely wet day today, especially later on when it became very wet. Earlier we found a gap in the rain for a stroll down at the beach. It was pretty cold so we thought we might get some shelter amongst the enclosed squares of Fittie.

Several others seemed to have had a similar idea, and I suppose if you live in Fittie you get used to people wandering around and taking photographs. In the evening we were invited to dinner with steak pie. It rained even more heavily, though by a stroke of good fortune it stopped for the duration of our journey home.

Sherlock Holmes in the evening roused off New Years Day, and with that a Happy New Year to all.
