Country road as the sun starts sinking

Today was a lovely day right up until it was dark!

Fred decided that today the hibernation had to stop as the sun was up and the sky blue! So we went to walking through the villages and woods just outside of Faversham. This meant several pub refreshment stops were taken available.

I took lots of pictures including some of very young looking calves in a barn, which surprised me (in January? - my knowledge of animal husbandry is not great but that is rather early isn't it?) - they nearly won blip place -so gorgeous.

Everywhere we walked on the flat was squelching with mud and had big wide puddles and everywhere we walked on slopes had huge runnels of water flowing.

we arrived back at the pub car park where we had started after a 5 mile loop. After a coffee in the pub it was dark and raining again for our drive home! We didn't care because we had spent almost all the daylight hours outdoors in fleeces but no waterproofs!
