Away from home.

'Never forget', said Gary.

'Never forget where you've come here from', sang Gary Barlow and his mates. I don't think I truly understood the weight of his words until taking delivery of this fine collection of drinks mats – coasters if you will.

St Albans is my home town, I left for uni on my 19th birthday back in 1997. It's a fine city: a town of pubs and parks, Roman remains and stories of Boudica, London commuters and a mighty Abbey Cathedral built around England's first Christian martyr. So no, I won't forget where I've come from: Albanian to the core.
