Clearing Out

Made some progress in sorting out some of my mother's possessions; unpacking the boxes we brought back from her house over the summer. I haven't felt able to face this before but it was good to take things forward today. Unfortunately this Wedgwood mug had to go out as it had a break at the base. The lovely pattern is called Hathaway Rose and I thought a blip would be a good way to preserve the memory of its beauty.

And in other news the write-up of my two years on blip is finally going to be published in the local paper tomorrow - only a month late. I think it got displaced at the time by the news of Nelson Mandela's death!
