Summer storm

Driving back from the Farmer's Market this morning the sun was shining on the hill, with black clouds, and blue skies above.

In Adelaide we have enjoyed a few days of very mild weather, with even a bit of rain, which is so welcome. Not like the poor souls in the north of our state where temperatures have reached above 45/46 degrees (and that's Degrees C, not degrees F).

I did consider giving you a link to 10 hours of the sounds of thunder and rain, but that just makes me want to go to the toilet, and in any case, who's got 10 hours! So instead, I decided to link to this very joyous song, because that's how we feel in Adelaide when in rains in summer.

And if you can't enough music from this movie, try even more happiness. (You can Hobbs for this clip - he put me onto it. The timing and energy is just incredible).

I will leave it to your imagination to picture the sight of about 1 million Adelaide inhabitants splashing about in puddles and swinging on lamp-posts.

This blip is actually a double whammy, because it also qualifies for Creativelenna's part-time challenge for Sundayskies whenever we feel like it, as well as Cathaber's Sound Illustration Challenge.
