Kipper Cabin

An active, glaciated, andesitic stratovolcano ...

... called Mount Baker.

Not the best shot, but when you consider the fact that it's 110 kilometers away from where I was stood on the beach it's actually not a bad view of it for a January day. It's a massive thing and the highest mountain in that area of the Cascades, so it stands out like a .... rather large snow covered mountain. Fabulous skiing, by all accounts.

Glorious sunshine all day. Kelsey The Gardener spent the day shifting things out of deer gnasher range, pruning the wisteria, the roses, the virginia creeper and the big tree that keeps growing all over my hydro cables and threatening to bring them down. He does a fabulous job with his fancy tools. What Kelsey does in a day, I couldn't get done in a month of Sundays. His big barky dog follows him 'round and occasionally wrestles twigs, which Cat finds most amusing.

Right. Must get back to catching up on my tv program, which I'll not name as it might prompt another humiliating comment.
