The Vagaries of the Wind?

Some parts of Scotland have winds blowing at 1 m/s; some parts with winds at 15 m/s. While some wind turbines would be unable to generate power, others would be spinning merrily.

When connected by a network, we can always tap the wind for energy where it is blowing. We just need sufficient coverage and to recognise that an economics that encourages fossil fuel burning as the most economical because it ignores the major subsidies oil and gas enjoy; the unsustainable nature of the resource, and the severe yet uncounted costs of the damage done to our ecosphere is a false economics.
