Decorated for service.

These are the humble Christmas decorations that have been 'brightening' up my flat for the past few weeks. They are few in number, not even straight and will take all of a minute to pack away. Nonetheless they have served their purpose well, issuing forth a constant reminder that this is a special time of year where the usual rules are bent and broken. Tomorrow I'll be back to plain doors, work emails and a higher blood pressure.

Today has also taken me out to the canal for my first run of the year and up Arthur's Seat for a twilight adventure.
