A New Year

Hello 2014!

G and I have spent the day going to a lovely mooch around Maldon. Sadly no Sea Salt to be had though only blustery winds and some heavy showers.

I am not sure if it is just a very British thing but are we all obsessed with going for a walk on New Year's Day regardless of the weather? That can be the only explanation for venturing out on a day like today. That said it was nice to get our and blow off some of the cobwebs.

We spent the evening at home under the warm glow of our little light tree enjoying the last few hours of the holiday before the return to work tomorrow.
