We went to a the local thespian group tonight to see a show...
Tonight's rendition was, well, rubbish. Regardless, this show holds a special meaning to us both...
Many years ago S1 and I met in the school theatre. In S1's final year at school the major yearly production fell through and was cancelled after a lack of student interest.
S1 and a friend took it on themselves to prove the school wrong
They produced this very funny show from scratch... and they certainly proved that lack of interest was not a problem! They had to turn away students who wanted to be involved and come show night they were turning away people due to the full house.
Although it is easy to forget when I'm on the receiving end, deep down, I love how determined my S1 is!
