Photo-a-day retirement

Beautiful day in Pegasus Bay

Looking down from Godley Head to the Kaikoura mountains of the Southern Alps with Sumner in the foreground and Rocking Horse Rd and Southshore, and the east side of Christchurch.

The large curved Bay is called Pegasus Bay after the ship that came in 1809 and discovered that Banks Peninsula is not an island as it had been thought to be by Captain James Cook.

So today two identical photos appeared when I uploaded - how can that happen?
