Sancho Panza

Rest and be rested,
No more tilting at windmills,
Your work has been done

This is a sculpture made by my Dad. It sits on the hall table and in the evening and when the table lamp is lit, it looks as if he is sleeping in the sun.

Don Quixote was one of my dad's favourite books and often a subject for his sculptures.

It's so nice to have these around the house, a thin thread of contact, with someone who gave me so much.
