Tree Spirit

Day 6/365: Today marked the return to school after the Christmas break for a training day. We got together with two other schools to take part in 'Outdoors and up for it!', training for outdoor learning.

We had an action packed day making stick men, leaf kites, journey strings, mobiles and tree sprites this morning. This afternoon saw us go off into the woods where we had great fun making and trying out rope swings. Lots of smiling faces all around!

On returning to school we were all excited to have a chance to make fires.

Here is my tree sprite, created from a large handful of very cold and very squishy mud, stuck onto a tree and sculpted.
