Los Reyes Magos (late post)

Finally got around to editing and posting this silly little picture. It's nothing special. My family is non-religious and Russian, so we don't celebrate Christmas or the Three Kings like the Spanish here do. Nevertheless, on the 5th my mum brought home a big Roscón de Reyes (cake) for us all to eat. I didn't have any, because these things don't look terribly appetising to me.

Inside each one of those cakes, there is a a bean and a king figurine (as featured in the photo). It is part of a very old tradition, but it's changed so much over time that I have no idea what it is. The point is: if you get the bean, you lose, and if you get the king, you're a king!
