Follow Your Nose

A plant needs some advertising clout when it blooms during sparse pollinator seasons. Hence the lovely scents of Witch Hazel (Hamamelis mollis) and Sarcococca which fragrances our garden now during the darkt winter months. We also have a red Witch Hazel (Diana) which is beautiful, but doesn’t have near the scent of this yellow one.
