Day 1 of the Women's Ashes at the WACA (West Australian Cricket Association) and I went along with S who is a member....this is not S she was nattering off 'stage'!
We..and about 98 others..spread ourselves around the ground with a capacity of 24,500 and which all of a month ago was standing room only for the Third test of the Lads Ashes series.
Such a shame as the cricket was great, the girls athletic, talented and not pratting around as the blokes are prone to do.

Tomorrow it is now forecast to be 44C, eeeewwww, and it will be amazing (and probably stupid) if they actually play in that heat.
It may also drive the stalwarts under cover with even less than 100 rocking up.
