Fire on the Horizon

What started off as a tough morning slowly evolved into quite a nice day and evening.

I had a number of domestic things to take care of early in the day and each one helped to lift my spirits.

About mid-afternoon my wife and I headed off to a prayer event that I was leading worship at. Along the way the sun was setting over my shoulder when I spotted a tall field being lit up by the sunset. The winter sky set it off so that it looked to be a burnish color... sort of on fire.

The event was marvelous and produced my smile moment when a wonderfully spiritual woman was blessed by the musical worship that I offered.
