Derby

We travelled to Derby today to visit our friends Liz and Genny. The journey was uneventful until we discovered the West exit from the M1 onto the A52 was closed. The diversion took us back onto the M1 in the opposite direction. A fraught few miles on brought us closer to where we wanted to be, thank goodness for Google Maps sat nav.

We had a nice lunch and a good sit and natter in front of their wood burner, luckily the journey home was more straightforward.
