Car of the Future Workshop

Today I was leading a workshop at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow. It was a simple arts and crafts design workshop for children and families. To develop and design a car for the future - this is because the Riverside Museum is a museum of Transport and Technology.

Workshops are always different as it depends on the participants - and some kids and families do a 'quick make and take' completing it in 20 mins, but some other children and parents are much more patient and take their time over their project.

This car I loved as the whole family got involved, sisters, mum and dad. They called it the Eco Bubble. With seat-belts, mirrors, Eco badge, gold wheel trims, fueled by a solar panel etc.

It may not look wow! but it was the attention to detail and the great teanwork the family took in creating it. They were rightly proud of it - and it inspired a lot of the families there too. It was days like these that I felt that something was achieved.
