Waterfoot Sunrise

By alasdairb

Frosty Morning

I wasn't going to both venturing outside for a sunrise blip this morning as there was little colour in the sky. However, there was a hard frost, probably the first of the winter, and the river estuary was full of flat calm water providing excellent conditions for reflections.

A very familiar scene, but in a winter of grey stormy skies one that just had to be captured. Just as well as the clouds and wind quickly rolled in from the west bringing yet more heavy rain before lunch.
