Selling Britain by the Pound

We have been working with The IPA for a fair while and last year we were asked to pitch against a few other agencies to design and build a website to promote the UK's amazing Creative Industries to the rest of the world. Anyway, we won, and that's what we've been working for the last few months.

The process has involved many different Industries , the organisations that represent each of these industries, government departments and various teams within the IPA, Igentics and other agencies. It has been an amazing team effort, everyone pulling together.

Last night was the launch event at the IPA, Al, me, Steve, Suz and Paul dressed up and went along, Tom stayed back in the office to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

The main speakers at the event were Nicola Mendelsohn (Vice President of Facebook EMEA), Maria Miller MP, Tim Davie CEO BBC Worldwide and Ed Vaizey MP, who included Igentics (our company) in his thanks.

I've been in business for 25 years and have been privileged to work on some amazing project with brilliant people. However tonight when they dimmed the lights and the room went silent and then they played the launch video that we (Suz) built in our studio to massive applause I was fit to burst with pride.

I know there are a lot of creatives on blip, not just photographers and artists but from all the creative industries. This is intended to promote all of us. Not just the big agencies, the fashion houses and film companies but little folks like us. British Creativity, it really is amazing (just look at blip!).
