Blue out of green

A blip of pot flowers from my friend's office desk - Charlie's been collecting plants with growing interest, since he adopted my plant upon my graduation.

The one at the back has blue (蓝色 lán sè) flowers already and the front one is to have white (白色 bái sè)ones. The shades of green (绿色 lǜ sè) really look pleasant to eyes when one gazes at the screen most of the day. Shall I propose to exchange one of them with one of my spider plant one day?

Additional: A Chinese saying goes like 青出于蓝而胜于蓝 (lit., the dye of green extracted from the indigo is bluer than the plant; metaphorically, the new situation/generation coming from the old is better than the original).
