Monday 19 October 2009: 1825
Captain's log, blipdate: 1825.
I have now completed five full orbits of this star. Despite the vast amount already explored and recorded, the surface remains barely scratched. Much, much more is still to be done.
As if timed to coincide with this milestone, recognition of our work came from the planet's dominant species today, a phenomenon I believe they call 'synchronicity'.
I shall celebrate this evening, with a modest glass of a fluid humankind call 'Beechams'.
