Intimate Musical Concert-Al Fuller

I was invited to a wonderful musical concert to celebrate Congregation Ner Tamid's 10th anniversary with a deli dinner (TooJay's pastrami, corned beef and turkey, potato salad and coleslaw and those great deli pickles), music and a wonderful cherry chocolate birthday cake. Al Fuller was the featured musician and he was a talented guitarist and harmonica player who entertained us with his songs and blues and strumming on his beautiful copper reverb guitar along with l other guitar with great sound and wonderful strumming. It was a joy to see old friends and hear some great music! I was an administrative assistant to Rabbi Barbara for many years in the past, and she is also their spiritual advisor , so I have had a long time to connection to many in the congregation. The congregation is led by lay leader Rena Morano, who leads many services with such a simple beauty and reverence for the Torah. Elaine Mittler, my friend for many years has been the backbone of holding and organizing many of the functions they have staged over the years. Dedicated board members have helped to keep this small group alive and energized. Mazel Tov to Ner Tamid for 10 years of commitment to the Jewish community of Bradenton. They serve not only the Jewish community, but the community at large with their wonderful mitzvah (good deeds) projects to the Bradenton/Sarasota area.
