Carpet of Leaves, Sutton Park

We enjoyed a walk through Sutton Park today, with me visiting areas for the first time in 30 years.

Juat after passing this spot we came across Keepers Pool. Up until the 1980s this had an outdoor lido to swim in (though it was mighty cold most of the time), It has since been demolished and a grassy bank is all that now remains.
