I Saw, I Photographed, I Conquered

Today I received wonderful news. The very first photo contest I ever entered I won second prize with this blip. I won! It wasn't a big, overly serious contest, but a contest nonetheless. I still competed against my peers and succeed. My photo will be displayed at the State Park all next year and my name will appear in the local papers. It makes me feel like I'm on the right track with this photography stuff.
