To bee or not to bee

Not to bee I guess. It's a bee fly, tiny little thing which lives on nectar and pollen, and is a very important pollinator. Definitely one of the good guys and very pretty little things.

Wikipedia says:
The Bombyliidae are a family of flies. Their common name is bee flies. Adults generally feed on nectar and pollen, some being important pollinators. Larvae generally are parasitoids of other insects.

One site tells me there are roughly 5000 species of bee fly described so far, and possibly equally as many that haven't yet been described.
