Painted my Dad

I did this painting of my Dad back in December, although I think I will go back and tidy up the background before I varnish it. I always like to wait for a bit after completing a painting before I decide to varnish it, as sometimes after a few days I want to change aspects of it.

I lost my Dad back in 2001 so it was quite surreal watching him appear before me as I painted - I will be giving this to my mum as a present once it's finished.
