River of Flowers

Chester

A lovely morning, MrD and I went for a train ride to Chester. We wandered around and were browsing in a bookshop when there was an almighty hailstone shower and lightening storm. It passed over fairly quickly, but the air became very cold and wintry afterwards.

Today's blip is of some of the half timbered buildings on the main street, with the Cathedral and its scaffolding in the background.

In additon to being Burns Night in Scotland, it's Saint Dwynwen's Day in Wales. Anglesey is particularly proud to have the island of Llanddwyn where she is thought to be buried.

Enjoy your weekend everyone :-) x
