A Yellow Rose for Susan 1956-2013

Last Friday, 17th January 2014 was the day, a goodly number of people wore yellow flowers in memory of a larger than life person who was always the last person to stop dancing long after everyone had finished.

The place for remembering this special person was Woodlands Burial Ground. The Act of Remembrance was followed by wellie boots, brollies, and a cream tea.

When Sue smiled the room lit up and she always made people feel at home. No airs and grace, Sue was a genuine person. The world is all the poorer for her passing.
