Cupcake Heaven...

After last night's Burn's Supper, I was in bed by 2am and up again at 8.30am, so you can probably guess I’m not exactly the life and soul of the party today :-)) L, D, G & C stayed over and we all felt better after our full Scottish Breakfast.

C left us with these absolutely delicious, homemade carrot cupcakes they’re gone now and G left homemade shortbread and tablet, also delicious.

Marion’s been here all afternoon with Alan so I have spent the afternoon reclining on the sofa like some weak, Edwardian lady. Superb :))

Dinner this evening will be a repeat of last night but that’s no hardship, especially as it incudes E’s delicious ham soup and S’s very tipsy, Tipsy Laird trifle.

What a great weekend :D
