Relics...

Instography did a very memorable Blip entry sometime ago about a similar subject to this. Left locks on bike racks. They've become a little like a modern relic. Bike locks left on the racks. Left gathering dust, too expensive or worth the hassle of trying to remove.

I actually spoke to someone while I was taking this photo who has actually contributed to the collection. He was of the perfectly legitimate practice of leaving his rather weighty lock on the rack. Lost the key one day and thus the lock remained tethered to the rack along with all the others.
